We just love when a great song gets an equally great video, so imagine how tickled pink we were about the royal treatment The Sea and Cake’s On and On received from Japanese animator, Naomi Nagata.

Via Nowness: “We’re a fairly insular group,” says bassist Archer Prewitt of their collaboration with Nagata, whose work he calls “precise, poetic and atmospheric. When we trust an artist, we give them free reign to develop their own contribution to a project. I really like the way Naomi’s animation turned out: lean and imaginative.”

On and On is taken from the band’s newest LP, Runner.
