This is exactly the way I wish every work day could start: with a concise, friendly and entertainingly self-effacing email providing me with links to atmospheric, dangerously-close-to-anthemic songs that ooze potential and effectively ease me into yet another hectic morning.

In this case, I have Glasgow band Father Scupltor to thank for Ember, Velvet Fall and Two of Swords (demo) (tagged ‘devotional’, ‘hopeless’, ‘melancholia’, ‘nautical’ , ‘Glasgow’).  Take a listen and have your day brightened, too. Ones to watch, indeed.
