Sargent House announces a brand new split-7-inch and it’s a small gem: On the A-side, New York’s awesome-as-they-wanna-be Asobi Seksu do a shoegaze-inspired cover of Farewell from Japan metal-gods, Boris. Returning the favor, Boris then covers Asobi Seksu’s New Years on the B-side, bumping up the RPM’s and layin’ on the heavy.
The limited Asobi Seksu x Boris split will be released on Record Store Day Black Friday (November 23rd) but in the meantime, you can stream it (incessantly, if you wish) below.
