We have to admit, Sufjan Stevens’ enthusiasm for the season is contagious. In ramping up to the release of his forthcoming (very hearty) Christmas music collection, Silver & Gold: Songs for Christmas Volumes 6-10, he’s just debuted this appropriately nostalgic video for his song of the same name. It features his adorbs nephew Gavin playfully romping on the seashore, all awash in childlike glee.
If nostalgia just isn’t your cuppa tea, Sufjan’s thought of that too. Mr. Frosty Man — another recently released, holidays-inspired clip in which a claymation Frosty wages war on a rogue Zombie horde running amok on Christmas Eve — might be more to your liking.
Silver & Gold: Songs For Christmas will be released November 13 via Asthmatic Kitty.
