The Luyas debut dramatic, short film for ‘Montuno’
Montreal’s The Luyas have released an artful short film for Animator single, Montuno, in which an everyday horse becomes a zebra, band members get downright wild, and singer/guitarist Jessie Stein wears the most fetching shade of yellow eyeshadow we’ve ever laid eyes on. Directing/editing props go to Mylène Simard.

Hot on the heels of their closing-night, PBR10 performance, Montreal act The Luyas have announced plans for Fall/Winter tour. In support of forthcoming album, Animator, due October 16th on Paper Bag Records, the band will perform a series of CMJ sets October 18-20 before playing the East Coast and select European dates.
