Guards usher in new year with preview of ‘Nightmare’
New York trio Guards have surprised fans with a teaser of their second single from their upcoming album, In Guards We Trust, due February 5th on Black Bell Records. Entitled Nightmare, the punchy new single (snippet below) follows the previously released, uber-melodic, Coming True.

After a couple years of playing hard, wowing audiences, kissing hands and shaking babies, raucous popsters Guards are set to finally release a debut LP early in 2013. Just yesterday, the band premiered single Coming True (below) on Stereogum, following up the album’s first single — released this past September — Silver Lining (also below)....

Emerging indie rockers Guards are prepping the release of debut LP, In Guards We Trust (via Black Bell and Velvet Vision) in February, and offer their first single, Silver Lining for download. Good of them, right? The track is produced by the bands own Richie Follin, brother of Cults‘ Madeline Follin.
